Friday Nocturnes: We are Wolves

The Nocturnes series turns up the ambience and features live music performances, a bar service, and entry to all of the Musée’s exhibitions. Why not try this original new way to visit the Musée and connect with contemporary art?

On Friday, March 5, the Musée d’art contemporain is hosting We are Wolves.

A gang of threefour—including rock. We Are Wolves imposes a music that’s both free and honest, like the celestial lightning on the mystic mountain. It’s a post-punk landscape filled with analogue trees, like rock after the post-modern explosion. The band’s third album, Invisible Violence, was released last fall in Canada and came out this month in the United States.

The capacity of the hall where the band will perform is limited due to a municipal by-law. Accordingly, not everyone can be accommodated inside the hall. However, the performance will be simulcast on two giant screens, next to the bar and on the exhibition gallery level, so that as many visitors as possible can enjoy the event.

Staff will be on hand in the galleries to answer visitors’ questions.

Nocturnes Schedule:
5 pm to 9 pm: access to the Musée’s exhibitions featuring ambient sound track and bar service with original drinks concocted by Pur Utlra Premium Vodka (cash only).
7 pm to 8 pm: musical performance in the Beverly Webster Rolph Hall, relayed by video to a screen outside the performance space.

Restaurant:
On Nocturne evenings, the Musée’s new bistro, Le Contemporain, is open till 10 p.m. and offers a special $20 menu.
