Urban space, long a favourite subject for photographers, continues to generate new perceptions and involve fresh sets of problems. This exhibition, which features six young artists whose work with the photographic and video image displays a variety of approaches and concerns, will examine the urban environment from the perspective of the latest issues.

The exhibition brings together works by Christian Barré, Martin Désilets, Isabelle Hayeur, Emmanuelle Léonard, Pavel Pavlov and Myriam Yates.

Urban Terrirtories is curated by Réal Lussier , curator at the  Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal.  It is accompanied by an illustrated bilingual catalogue (French and English) with texts by the artists and  Réal Lussier.

Meet some of the artists: Thursday, october 6, 5 p.m.
