Reopening of the Musée Boutique New look and new approach...
Montreal, November 29, 2005 – Boasting a brand new look and a brand new approach, the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal has reopened its Boutique just in time for the holiday season.
The Boutique is located right downtown, just a few short steps from the Musée entrance in the main hall of Place des Arts. It can be reached via Metro and by Montreal’s underground network, making lunchtime and last-minute shopping a breeze! Its 180-degree layout allows shoppers to spot what they want immediately: stationery, jewellery and watches, home accessories, toys, Musée-related products, Christmas decorations – the list goes on. Somewhere among the Boutique’s original, appealing and artistic selection there’s precisely the right object for every event, age group and budget.
All the profits from the Boutique, which is now run by the Fondation du Musée, go towards enriching the Musée’s Collection through the acquisition of artworks. So shopping at the Boutique means supporting the Musée – and artists.
Holiday shopping has never been so … creative.

The Boutique du Musée is open Wednesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from Saturday to Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For the holiday season, the Boutique will also remain open until 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday (from December 5 to 24).
