Montréal, March 26, 2008 – Montréal’s cultural mecca the Musée d’art contemporain (MAC) is hosting the ARTchetype evening, set to take place this coming Friday, April 18, starting at 9 p.m. Organized by the dynamic committee known as Les Printemps du MAC, a group of fifteen young members of the business community, the evening promises to be an artistic experience for all the guests, come for a closer encounter with the many different forms of contemporary art.
Stimulating the collective unconscious
ARTchetype is meant to be a living, personal experience, a mirror, an expression of art reflected on the guests themselves. And the committee has set out to give them a real eyeful! On top of enjoying impassioned performances by DJ Alain Vinet and other, surprise artists, guests will be able to visit current MAC exhibitions Yannick Pouliot and Geoffrey Farmer.
Creative and logistical responsibility for this festive evening lies in the capable hands of Linda Dupuis and François Martin, a pair well known for organizing major events, and highly regarded and expert event planners Prodigium.
The new faces of cultural philanthropy
Les Printemps du MAC is a newly formed group of young people dedicated to acquainting the public with the Musée d’art contemporain, a treasure on our cultural and artistic scene.
